Samba and Active Directory

Let me start out that I know that Samba cannot be a backup domain controller (bdc) for a win2k/win2k3 primary domain controller (pdc). Is is possible to set up a samba pdc and establish a trust relationship with the win2k/2k3 pdc so that any user authenticated via the samba pdc will have the same access to the win2k/2k3 domain as if they are authenticated by the win2k/2k3 pdc?

I am looking as using this (if its possible) to migrate my office away from using win2k as its pdc (and as a step in my migrate to linux master plan)

I just searched google and found lots of info if I search for, "samba active directory". You may have more luck that way.
