Error enabling swap device - invalid argument

I'm getting the following error when trying to install Fedora Core 2:

Error enabling swap device - invalid argument
This most likely means this swap partition has not been initialised

I didn't get this error when first installing Core 2, but I get it every time now. It appears when it's about to start installing packages. I can't see anything in the fdisk utility to enable the swap.

ANy ideas?

Thanks

Can you post your /etc/fstab file?

Angry fstab file

Here is my fstab file, which shows 8 swapp partitions.
I have looked at them with swapon and they all look alright.

But FC3 complains about invalid argument for swap device /dev/sda6 and does not allow to proceed with upgrade from RedHat9 to FC3.

Arrow Fixed

FIXED.

I booted with FC3 installation cd1 and went into linux rescue mode.
I checked the swap partitions with swapon command and of course got error message.

Then I remade swap partitions with

mkswap /dev/sda6
........
mkswap /dev/sda13

and the upgrade now continues.

Funny, it looks like FC did not like swap partitions made by RedHat 7.0.
(I upgraded the system from 7.0 to 7.3 , 9.0 and now FC3 )
