Question Dual boot (Installing vista after fedora installed)

I have both vista and fedora 8 now. But unfortunately vista got crashed(Anyways is windows).

Now i have to reinstall vista which rewrites my boot sector and after that i will not be able to boot with fedora.

Now how to get my dual boot option exactly as i have now, after installing vista?

You boot with the Fedora DVD and run rescue mode to re-install the boot loader. It will pick up on the Vista install and add it to the boot menu.

The command line prompt should show sh-3.2#. Typically you type chroot /mnt/sysimage and grub-install /dev/sda. If there are no error messages grub is likely installed properly and you can reboot. You should then see your boot menu.

As you step through the rescue boot process you will see "Your system has been mounted under /mnt/sysimage. Press <return> to get a shell. If you would like to make your system the root environment run the command chroot /mnt/sysimage. The system will reboot automatically when you exit from the shell."
