Turning X-window off in Fedora 7

I would like to turn off the x-window for some users, so that when they login they see the terminal.

How can I do this?

in /etc/inittab there is a line that looks like this

id:5:initdefault:

simply change the 5 to 3 and the GUI will not load on boot but you can use the startx command to load it.

Thanks, thats it.

PS.
System- > Log Out does not log you out, just shuts down X-windows.
One has to log out manualy, this can cause problems if he/she forgets to do so.

One thing I did to make my system run better was to put startx in .bashrc
then I noticed the same thing so I put an exit after the startx.
This made it so when I log on the xserver will start and whe I log off Xserver it would automaticly log out.
This was a long time ago though so not sure it would still work like that.
