xorg.conf issue

Hey all,

First off sincere apologies for the double post but i was getting no where with the Mousepen topic. Following my own post I was able to get the Genius Mouspen 8x6 working on Fedora 8 but a strange thing happened, if i leave the tablet unplugged during bootup, it seems to refuse to go into X and just looks like it hangs. But if we have the tablet plugged in it works.. Did i stuff up the xorg.conf somehow? or maybe the udev rules?

Any thoughts? I know that all i needs to do is to comment out the Tablet portion in the server layout but this computer is for my 60 year old dad and I would like it to be as painless as possible and no going into root.

Thanks for any helps

Suo

There's no reason to create a new thread if you already have one going on a topic. If you're getting nowhere in the original thread what makes you think you'll do better by creating a new one? Double/cross-posts are not permitted in this forum, period.
