No battery after reboot

Power management icon shows there's no battery and I'm running on AC power. This never happened on other distros

What will the power management icon show if you unplug the power cord?

The same, showed there's no battery, and still the same after I plugged it back in. A reboot fixed it but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. It didn't in other distros.
