Precompiled Kernel problem with Nvidia 7300 GT Graphic Card GeForce

hello, Everyone

Here is my problem...
I have a Nvidia Ge Force 7300 GT 512MB and I cant get the drivers installed in my Fedora 8 Linux.

I already have download the driver file from the Nvidia website (the file extension is pkg2.run)
But, when I try to install the driver by typing sh (file name) I get a message saying that my precompiled kernel interface is not the right one.

WHAT SHOULD I DO...
I already have spent hours searching for answers but I cant find anything that could help me... Im new to linux so please help...

Thank you

I believe that the general consensus on on this forum is to install the NVidia drivers from the Livna repo. Search this forum on keywords like NVidia. You'll get plenty of hits and help.

you should install the kmod-nvidia driver from livna-reposity....
install this: http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-8.rpm (change number 8 to you Fedora release)
Code:
su -c "yum install kmod-nvidia"
