fc7 install on vostro 1400

while im install fc7 64 bit on vostro 1400 dvd cant detect where is the image location is

could anyone help

Hi,
try changing the Hard disk mode from IDE to RAID in BIOS. you should be able to install the same.

thas cause dell uses proprietary drivers and boards to control the hdd Dvd and other hardware. your better off getting another notebook like a Turion acer or something. it may install on a dell but you have to mess with too much crap to install it. ill find a guide to help you and then ill post it. but i think ganthu is right you need to change you bios try disabling bios cache and revert the bios to default or update the bios then try to install Fc7 again. i use Fc8
i like it more but you should stick with Fc7. for now and to upgrade to Fc8 type as root or su in the konsole yum upgrade. i think thats right.
