Exclamation startup failure diagnostic in F8.

Hi I recently updated my Fedora 8 system then restarted only to find that Sendmail and maybe one or two other things failed during the startup proses.

I was only able to catch that issue but I did see others I couldn't copy down .

I would like to know how I could determine what the other failures might be like maybe a boot record.

I also would like to learn how to diagnose then repair the issue.

Pleas help.

The system logs will reveal quite a bit about what's not working. Applications > System Tools > System Logs.
