scientific linux and livna of atrpm???

i am a debian user and i am considering to switch to red hat based linux...
while i like fedora very much i dont find it stable enough to cover my needs so after some research i am thinking of using scientific linux.

the problem is that i want to use it for fun too and so i am considered about adding 3rd party repos.

are livna or atrmps fully compatible with s.l?? or i will encounter problems?? if they are both fully compatible witch one should i choose??

According to this page: https://www.scientificlinux.org/community/repo it looks like they're using Dag, Dries and ATRpms. Those wouldn't be compatible with livna though.

bob is (as usual) right. FWIW I think you are making a wise choice. Fedora has many strong points but stability is NOT high on the list. Whether scientific linux is a good choice or not has a lot to do with YOUR needs.

i believe that scientific linux is the best choice!

1) it is a very stable (recompiled out out of rad hats source)
2)has a good performance
3) has a nice name (while fedora is a very nice name also)
