try using yum from a command line... it will automagically resolve the dependency issues. You could try yumex or pirut. They are both graphical overlays for yum.

The command should be:
Code:
yum -v groupinstall 'KDE (K Desktop Environment)'
The quotes are necessary because of the spaces and shell special characters in the group name.

Can you please guide me on how to disable the development, updates-testing, *debuginfo and *source repos. Do I move them to another folder or do I rename the extension of the files

Can I install the KDE Development Environment from my DVD instead of going online. Do I need to make some changes in the repo files for it?

Please guide me as I am new to Fedora.

Regards
Vishal Bibra

Code:
[root@localhost Vishal]# gedit /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-development.repo
Then:
Code:
[development]
name=Fedora - Development
#baseurl=http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/development/$basearch/os/
mirrorlist=http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=rawhide&arch=$basearch
enabled=0
gpgcheck=0

[development-debuginfo]
name=Fedora - Development - Debug
#baseurl=http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/development/$basearch/debug/
mirrorlist=http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=rawhide-debug&arch=$basearch
enabled=0
gpgcheck=0

[development-source]
name=Fedora - Development - Source
#baseurl=http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/development/source/SRPMS/
mirrorlist=http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=rawhide-source&arch=$basearch
enabled=0
gpgcheck=0
Repeat for all files in folder /etc/yum.repos.d/ that are named "updates-testing, *debuginfo and *source repos"

Regards,
V
