    Missing Dependency: xine-lib

    Hi,

when i try to install the "xine-lib-devel - 1.1.10.1.fc8.i386" via the package installer UI I get following error msg:

"Missing Dependency: xine-lib = 1.1.9.1 is needed by package xine-lib-moles"

What do i have to do to get this development kit?

If it helps, the freshrpms output is as follows:
    [fedora@localhost ~]$ rpm -qa --queryformat %{NAME}-%{VERSION}-%{RELEASE}.%{ARCH}-%{VENDOR}\n"|grep Freshrpms.net

    libmad-0.15.1b-4.fc7.i386-Freshrpms.net
    libfame-0.9.1-12.fc7.i386-Freshrpms.net
    xine-lib-moles-1.1.9.1-1.fc8.i386-Freshrpms.net
    xvidcore-1.1.3-2.fc7.i386-Freshrpms.net
    vcdimager-0.7.23-5.fc7.i386-Freshrpms.net
    libdvdcss-1.2.9-2.fc7.i386-Freshrpms.net
    xine-0.99.5-1.fc7.i386-Freshrpms.net

    Many Thanks for any help.

Just a thought. Installing xine-lib-devel worked for me. I use the Livna repo. Try it instead of FreshRPMs.

Personally I would ditch freshrpms as they are poorly maintained

    Code:
    su
yum erase libmad libfame xine-lib-moles xvidcore vcdimager libdvdcss xine freshrpms-release
    rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-7.rpm
yum install libmad libfame xine-lib-extras-nonfree xine-lib-extras xvidcore vcdimager libdvdcss xine xine-lib-devel

I have noticed from the output that you don't have the release rpm installed

Try deleting the repo as it will only cause you problems

    Code:
    su
    rm /etc/yum.repos.d/freshrpms.repo

The commands I gave you have switched you to livna by default

    This was the livna release

    Code:
    rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-7.rpm
and this removed the freshrpms repo

    Code:
    rm /etc/yum.repos.d/freshrpms.repo
