ogg convert for vob in fedora 8

i've heard from my friend that ogg video is better then rmvb, so i tried to converted my dvd rip, which is vob, into ogv by using ogg convert, but after convertion, it is indeed smaller, but no sound. just wondering how to aviod that. vob videos works perfectly on my computer.
