compiz-fusion

hello all.

anyway, I had fedora 8 on my box, took it off for another dist, hated it, and am back on fedora 8.


i have done just about everything the exact same, including installing compiz-fusion.


for some reason, it works, but not really.

lets take the animatinos button in ccsm for instance, i can mess with the settings all i want, but the windows never respon to the changes. same with the scale options and whatnot.


any ideas?
