fc7 initial reboot fails

the install went fine. when i did the initial reboot it fails at

enabling fstab swaps

it dies right there.

is it possible that fc7 is having trouble with my new Acer AL1706 monitor or SIS raid on the motherboard which is not used). These are just guesses no facts. I can't get to any install logs or other screens to see the install.

Thanks for any help.
