Music Typesetting Software

Does anyone know of a music typsetting system of or close to the calibre and style of Sibelius and Finale under Mac and Windows?

(This is the last task I have to find a Linux based solution for so that I can turn off my Windows box for good.)

Try lilypond. It takes text files and transforms them into sheet music.
