Installation problem....

Hi Guys

I have installed Fedora on my PC with no problems but when I try and install it on my laptop it hangs at the very first screen that says "Would you like to test the media...OK or Skip" I cant do anything except power down at this point.

Any ideas

Cheers

It will be nice to know what kind of hardware you are trying to install Fedora on.
options you have is when the first cd is loading is
Code:
 linux text
which is a pita or you could try
Code:
linux ide=nodma

Had exactly the same problem. My drives support DMA.
