Talking anti virus on linux

hi everybody. My dad is finally migrating from xp to fedora, and he wants to have a anti-virus thing. i never had any anti-virus on fedora(tried clamav, but quit at the end because pointless), but my dad insists to have a anti-virus. just wondering which is the best under linux? thanks for the help.
