Hi,
I just installed Fedora 8, and enabled vsftpd, while I found a weird thing:
The upload speed from another machine which belongs to another sub net is very low (about 32k/s max). While the speed from a machine in the same subnet can reach about 8-9 M/s.
I have disabled the firewall, but with selinux enabled. Ever tried to disable/enable iptables service. But there is no change.
Here is the boolean values for selinux:
[root@zcyddd326 .vnc]# getsebool -a|grep ftp
allow_ftpd_anon_write --> off
allow_ftpd_full_access --> on
allow_ftpd_use_cifs --> off
allow_ftpd_use_nfs --> off
allow_tftp_anon_write --> off
ftp_home_dir --> on
httpd_enable_ftp_server --> off
By the way, I have verified that there is no router/ firewall issue. I placed another window PC with FTP server service enabled, and using the same cable. While the upload speed from different subnet is high(about 4M/s).
Does anybody have any suggestions?
Regards and thanks
