F8 can't detect my webcam

hi... me again...

i'm usinc a laptop AsMobile Z96S... and F8 on it... my 2Mpix camera is D-MAX but no drivers available and the manufacturer doesn't support any drivers (just CD for xp and vista)... it has a diode next to it and it should glow when the camera is active ... i heven't seen it on since F8 install...

i believe it is conected to somewhat usb-like interface... because when windows used to load the usb the diod flashed... but now... i use only fedia and no damn win...

i can't find anything in the /dev that could be like it...

i would apprieciate anykind of help or suggestions
