Installing steam with wine.

I've read some old guide on howto install stream with wine but they refer to an exe file that's not available anymore, steam now offer an MSI.
I tried:
Code:
 wine install SteamInstall.msi
But got:
Quote:
wine: could not load L"c:\\windows\\system32\\install.exe": Module not found
I think there may also be a problem with my wine as when I click on any of the GUI apps from Applications such as "winhelp" or "Wine File", nothing happens.
