Update problem with Fedora 8

I have just installed F8 on a clean computer and am getting the following when I do
yum -y update

Error: Missing Dependency: libsensors.so.3 is needed by package kdebase

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Try yum update yum first.

Ok, I did a yum update yum and it did update yum, so I ran
yum update
and got
Error: Missing Dependency: libsensors.so.3 is needed by package kdebase
Error: Missing Dependency: libldap-2.3.so.0 is needed by package kdebase

Any other ideas? I'm thinking of un-installing kde but it will un-install a LOT of other things.

Thanks,
duncan

If you have yumex installed run it and deselect the offending packages with missing dependency's and finish updating the selected packages.
