I just install and it upgrade my kernel to 2.6.23.9-85.
and i found that my display card driver cant work with that.
How can i downgrade to the kernel before ?! to 2.6.23.1xx
I am new to F8. so please tell me in detail . thanks very much
when you startup the computer, you should come to a blue screen with the kernel version printed across the top left. it'll say something like linux booting in 5 seconds. press any key to interrupt and you can choose an older kernel version.
Were you using the proprietary nvidia drivers? I had the same problem with kmod-nvidia not being in the repos for a few days. Perhaps you should give it a few days until someone packages the upgrade. If you upgraded with yum, the older kernel will probably still be available in the grub boot menu.
Not to call you out, but you seem to have posted alot of related questions in the past few hours. Remember that the forum has a search utility as well as google has a plethora of information. Alot of the times you can find answers on forums for ubuntu, debian, etc. that will relate to fedora. On top of that, a little leg work on your part will help narrow down your questions and people will be able to answer you better.
