Gnome Live CD (installing stuck at sendmail)

Hi,
I downloaded the Live fedora gnome CD. I have burnt it to 3 different cd-rw disks, using 2 different burning programs.
On any of the disks, I am in the process of installing it, rather, booting up into fedora to install it, it's stuck at activating sendmail.
I left the computer for about 1 hour, I come back and it's still stuck at the activating sendmail.

I burnt the iso straight to disk.

I have tried verifying fedora contents using the boot option when you boot to cd.

Nothing works. I downloaded the .iso straight from the fedora website.

All help appreciated.

On the start menu there is a PRESS TAB to enter parms?
backspace over rhgb quite
when you see the PRESS i for interactive boot, do it.
Each service will ask to be started (Yes or No)
Say no for sendmail
It may be hung because the network is not started for the install cd (Network-manager issue)

I tried that but it freezes at another type of service. I'll try it again.

Just say NO.

Once running you can install.

Ok. What I did was I deleted the lines what you had written.
I started every service up until System logger. Which is where it freezes. Also NFS statd failed to start.
I don't get a choice to stop system logger, it just says "starting system logger."

seems like a hardware issue.
Did you run the md5sum or sha1sum on the downloaded iso
and also check the media during the install?
How old is you CD? Clean it. Does it have an 80 wire cable?
Did you burn are about 12x or very fast?
Is the media a 703 CD or a 700? Use a 703.
Look for scratches on the cd's and in the cd-rom tray.
Look for cheese and hair.

Well I tried 3 cd's. All at 12X.

Couldn't be a hardware issue as I installed Ubuntu days ago.

700MB cd's.

I'll try the saying no method though.

I didn't run either the md5 or sha1 sums on the ISO.

Check what media?
