Desktop Effects Help!

I have searched many times now, and I can't find anything that will help me.
When I go to enable my desktop effects, it says, it can't enable desktop effects.
So I ran it from the terminal, same error, but here is what the terminal gave me:

Code:
compiz (core) - Fatal: No sync extension
Xlib: extension "SHAPE" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "SHAPE" missing on display ":0.0".

I have an NVIDIA GeForce 6200 Turbocache 128MB PCI Express x16 Card

in addition I have installed the NVIDIA Drivers for x86-64 Systems

I have been able to get Compiz\Beryl and such to work on an openSUSE, but I have never been able to use them with Fedora

Why is it everyone always says how hard they have searched yet we have three working compiz threads that have been going on all day? Try using the search box and typing "compiz." I dont want to be rude but the answers are so easy to find on this particular subject. I suggest following up on the thread titled F8 compiz repo and following Leigh's directions from the first post. With your nvidia card it shouldnt be that big of a deal.

get your xorg.conf sorted first.
I found that it still didnt work from the menu, but once I ran it from the command line it sorted itself out - very strange
