Is there a reason why SELinux (of which I know almost nothing) doesn't let a specific shared library to be loaded?
The first problem I had was after copying the library in /usr/local/lib, when I ran ldconfig. I didn't get ldconfig to add the lib into the cache, until I turned SELinux to Permissive mode.
Anyway, every time an application loads the library, SELinux complains. Browsing the system log I see a message saying something like it wasn't letting the lib to be loaded due to the fact that it needed relocation.
So my 2 questions are:
1. Why doesn't SELinux like my lib?
2. Why does SELinux like the rest of libraries in my system?
Hope SELinux has nothing personal against me...
