Exclamation h/w not detected

I just purchased new computer with following configuration:

intel 945 motherboard 800 FSB

3.0 Ghz dual core 2x2MB cache

transcend 2x1GB RAM

seagate 250 GB SATA

seagate 250 GB PATA

sony DVD burner

however when i start installation it stops at a point where it ask for proper driver i don't know
for what (must be sata hdd) also doesn't start gui based installtion

Try in text mode.

Post error messages in other consoles Ctl+Alt+F2 .F3 F4
