autorun

does anybody know how i can make a program autorun on startup?
particularly avant window manager and compiz fusion

If you're using gnome see the screenshot for the easy way.

From the CLI you can just "ln -s" into

For Gnome --> ~/.config/autostart/

For KDE --> ~/.kde/Autostart/

or make a script there with the command to run.
