hello

i use fedora 8 on my amilo 3438g laptop. fedora detects my audio card and i can listen audio.
but i have a few problems.

1)the scroller on the side doesnt work. that mean it doesnt increase or decrease the volume when i use it.

2)the microphone port on the side doesnt work so i cannot record sound.

i dindt care a lot for the question 1 but i need to record sound.
