Unhappy xine crashes when DVD opened

I updated my Fedora 8 system yesterday. Before the update DVD playing with xine worked fine. But now, when I click on the xine-ui DVD button (DVD inserted) xine opens it, then imediately crashes. Kafeine does the same, only VLC works.

Does anyone have an idea where to search for error messages/debug info or how to solve the problem?

KDE v 3.5.8-7.fc8, kernel : 2.6.23.8-63.fc8
xine: 0.99.5-1.lvn8
xine-lib: 1.1.8-4.fc8
on an i686.

Also installed: xine-lib-extras, xine-lib-extras-nonfree, xine-lib-arts, kdemultimedia-extras-nonfree, kdemultimedia-libs

Hi, I have a simular problem

Xine opens and plays the previews, it gets to the root menu and crashes.
found this line in dmesg
xine[3568] trap divide error rip:2aaabcc5bdda rsp:45006ee0 error:0

I'm not sure what this means though. I'm curious if you have the same line in dmseg?

Hi,
I haven't found anything in dmesg
I started xine from terminal (Konsole), then trying to open DVD, the output is:
Code:
[myname@domain ~]$ xine
This is xine (X11 gui) - a free video player v0.99.5.

I was able to work around this problem by downgrading libdvdnav from libdvdnav-4.1.1-2.fc8 to libdvdnav-0.1.10-4.20070503.lvn8.

It seems that this has now been fixed on the Livna side as well. For me, xine works after updating to xine-lib-extras-nonfree-1.1.8-6.lvn8 and libdvdnav-4.1.1-2.fc8.
