Holy freakin...Look at the shot of the blue going UNDER the bridge with all those boats!!! I would never have believed the Navy would allow that! The reason the photographer is complaining about the distance the jets were flying from the crowd was due to recent airshow accidents. Yet that Blue Angel was FEET off the water? Wow, I would have loved to have seen that in person.

I guessed you'd appreciate those particular shots I can't take credit for the link though, it was on another network I subscribe to here.

This guy takes some pretty stunning airshow photos as well. He's on one of the photo forums I frequent and has posted some astounding pics.

His other albums are pretty rocking as well.

thanks,
json

some very nice shots. I especially love the warbirds. The p-38 and p-40 stood out but they are my favorites anyway.

I was more gobsmacked at how blue the sky was. Never get clear sky that blue here.

Try using a polarizing filter sometime - can make most any whited out, washed out sky look good.

I wanted one too, but just couldn't justify four digits. However, so far, I've been really impressed with this.

However, when I ordered, due to a mix-up at the retailer, I ended up with this ... and ain't gonna send it back! <....>

Very nice Dan. A similar model in the UK would be around £150-200, a pukka DSLR will cost £400-700, though that price range includes some kits with wide-angle and tele zooms. There are some professional DSLR's with 13MP, but they start on the high side of £1000, and as for the digital adaptors for large format... I'm looking forward to the spring and really getting to grips with my Olympus E-300.
