I just installed Fedora 8 and I had the installation install mysql for me. The version of mysql that is included with Fedora 8 has some bugs that I don't want to deal with. An older version of mysql will do perfectly fine for what I need to do.
How do I use yum to deinstall the current mysql and install an older version?
Seems like yum always want to install the latest and greatest version.
Thanks
Carl
