Printing to a shared printer on WinXP machine

I using FC1 and was able to get it to print to my shared Windows XP printer.

The probelm I am having is that whenever I print something the printer prints a light grey background behind the text. What's going on and how can I correct this?

What printer is it? What driver are you using? Are you using CUPS? How did you install the printer? (The Queue type must be choosen as "Network Windows (SMB)", and the share must be something like "//<server-name>/<share-name>", if you're using the RedHat Printer Configuration tool.)

The printer is a Canon S450. I installed it using the Red Hat Printer Config. tool. The print driver is gimp-print-ijs. I don't know what you mean by using CUPS? Sorry for the lack of info on my first post. I appreciate the help.

I changed the driver and this seemed to correct the printing problem.
