OK, lets take a look at some things... then we can help you alot better..
1. What is the o/p for
iwconfig NDISWRAPPER_DEVICE_NAME (wlan0 mebbe?)
2. Have you looked to see if the ndiswrapper driver is loaded?
run: lsmod | grep ndiswrapper to check it.
You can force load it using: modprobe ndiswrapper
3. what is the output for: netstat -rn

Are you using NetworkManager to drive your wireless network connections? If not, you should.
I struggled when I first started with ndiswrapper, then I got another wireless adapter. Initially, I wrote a BASH script to execute all the necessary commands to get connected [ifconfig, iwlist, iwconfig, wpa_supplicant, dhclient, route, netstat]. Then, I discovered NetworkManager over on Ubuntu. I pulled that onto my Fedora box using yum and never looked back. You can create a profile for every network/AP that you access. NM takes care of all those commands that I cited.

Look at the NM signal strength icon on the upper panel.. there are 4 bars showing the reception you have with your AP. If the AP is too far away, or too much intervening obstruction, walls, etc. you will have low signal and connection drop-outs. Also, it could be the antenna on your wireless adapter. Some have good antennas and some not. My former USB adapter had a teeny little antenna and I had reception issues. My daughter has a MAC powerbook and that has a powered antenna which can bring in signals I can't even see with my D-Link G650.
