firstboot problem with F8 64

I'm installing F8 64bit for my friend and it complains it can't mount partitions and after clicking forward on "Date and Time" on the Firstboot thing, it freezes. Everything before that is saved, so should I skip firstboot altogether and manually set it up??? If anyone knows a work around, I'd like to know
