I noticed your personal section installs the touch pad drivers is there a way to add this under the driver section as a stand alone option? I do not know how to install it manually and every time I reformat (lately it has been alot due to my stupid tampering with the wrong files ) I have to install your personal menu option to get it installed.
Also maybe you can add a google section that adds the google repo and installs goolge Desktop/picasa
Also a cool program for wallpaper changing is weblider it is like Webshots on Windows but it is made specificaly for Linux. I found the best way to install it is through the python installer not the rpms though since the rpms seem dated and lacking the correct dependency information.

Hi ajamison the google is a definate yes, as regards the touchpad ill have to look into that a bit more as it requires a manual entry in xorg.conf, but you are not the first to ask for it so ill give it a go.
never seen/used weblider ill have a look, btw did see moving desktop bit i did, useless and a resource hog but fun

Moving wallpaper is good but Weblider does not alter Nautilus from doing anything once installed it simple requires a tray icon to be added. You do have to install python iamging which fedora fails to install by default but it is in the fedora repo so it is not a big deal. Also your way relys on photos you download yourself this porgram downloads new photos based on tags you enter so you photos are allways changing.
Anyway I use it and it is great you can even have it download the daily photos from Webshots.
Just for the heck of it I attached a few Screenshots one of the main Interfact window and one of the Channel section of the preferences
Edit
Added a screenshot of the Download window

Hey does that add the google repo as well?
One exists though it has to be made manualy no rpm exists to add the repo
here is the output of my google.repo file
Code:
[google]
name=Google - i386
baseurl=http://dl.google.com/linux/rpm/stable/i386
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
Get the key like so
Code:
wget https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub
rpm --import linux_signing_key.pub

you have to add it to the panel before it will load the pictures. Also you need to setup the picture to test it you can just right click on the panel icon and go to download photos that will download the intrestingness channel photos but you can add more channels excetera

well two things that might work try to right click on the icon and hit next photo to start the applet sometimes that gets it kicked off. Second maybe your tweak about disabling Nautilus from managing wallpapers affects it.
I have had to hit next photo after the intial install that kind of puts it into gear
