Resolution issue - Fedora 7 & Matrox graphics

Hello everyone,
I've been using FC6 and recently Fedora 7 for a year now with no problems. Unfortunately I've encountered some problems since I've changed my display and added a PC.
Code:
Specs:
Display: Dell 2407wfp_hc, max Resolution is 1920x1200@60Hz
more specs at http://support.dell.com/support/edoc...Specifications
Grafics: Matrox G550 (PCIe 1x) http://matrox.com/graphics/en/finent...s/g550pcie.php
OS: Fedora 7 x86_64
I can only work with the shell when I connect the Display with DVI. If I use a VGA calbe, X starts with the correct resoltion.
I should point out that I have another PC running FC6 and a NVIDIA graphic card and I don't have any problems (full resolution DVI and VGA).
So I suppose the issue has to do something with the Matrox graphics.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Regards,
