Disk failure

I hope someone can help me. I have a hot game box I have built and would like to migrate to Fedora .For the last six months I have downloaded four different full installs and the same number of live,I have burnt with "Power Iso"," alcohol 120", and "Nero".Also I have used three different DVD burners [two Pioneers and one Sony] all the same result they fail the disk check or the live distribution go's on and fails then install on my hard drive telling me my disk is corrupt.Any suggestion Vista sucks !
