tnt2 32mb and legacy nvidia driver from livna

hi all i have a fresh F7 installation on my pc , the video car is an Asus v3800 tnt2 32mb ,
i have try to install with yum the kmod nvidia legacy from livna , but after the first reboot the welcome screen (gdm) is back ....
if i look the startup message nvidia module is load with the OK response .
now i have boot with the old kernel and i have remove the kmod nvidia , but i need this driver ...

any suggestion ?

You should get the gdm welcome screen regardless of the video driver you choose.

When you load a driver module it is typically only for ONE kernel release. So if you load the module for kernel-2.6.22.5-76.fc7 and then the yum update causes kernel--2.6.22.9-91.fc7 to load, then generally you will need a new module compiled for the new kernel. If you use the livna repo you need to get the update from there before booting the new kernel.

Basically I don't understand the problem you are describing. "(gdm) is back" is the OK response do not indicate a problem.

sorry i mean is black , i have a black screen ..........
but in the startup message nvidia mudule is loaded with Ok message
i have installed kmod and xorg driver with yum from livna repo.
