html to text conversion

how to convert the html format to text format(i need text format only)

There's html2text. I think there's an RPM (I'm in FreeBSD right now, so can't check, but a quick google indicates that there is.)

I've never used it, but it seems as if it would do the job.

Or, you could just open it in a web browser and copy and paste it.

is it possible to store total text( of web page ) in one string
