Question Wine + WOW

Hy, i don't know if this is where i should post this, but maybe i will get an answer anyway
So, my problem is: i installed wine from the fedora repo and then installed WOW. Weird thing is
that after i play wow the application doesn't close, i have to kill it each time, and when i switch to another window by alt+tab, when i come back to wow frame rate goes down and is unplayable.
I have an nvidia card + livna drivers, direct rendering is ok...
Is this normal or should i patch wine....or something?
This is my first install for a game under wine so i'm a noob in the matter...
Has anyone have this problem before ???
Sorry for my english and thanks for the help,
Ronin.

Hello, this site should give you all the info you need:
http://www.wowwiki.com/Linux/Wine

WoW not closing is a bug in wine versions 0.9.42 (I believe) up to 0.9.45.
0.9.46 fixes this bug. As for the alt+tab problem, try checking the site first.

Hi,

I ran into to same problem; I just steped back to wine version 9.31(I believe) works great no problems. I tried to step up to 9.46, but caused a bunch of dependcy issues for me as it is still in the testing phase.
