Exclamation large fonts using amsn

i have just installed fedora on my computer and i have also installed amsn.
when i first started up the program the fonts on the application are huge! i went through the settings for the app itself and there didn't seem to be a solution.
The rest of the fonts in linux are completely fine.
what would cause this program and how do i fix it?? it is completely frustrating
AMD x2 4400+
Nvidia Geforce 7900GT
2 GB RAM
Fedora core 7

thanks

Hello:
No idea ?

If you do not get an answer here you may want to check the amsn forums.

Use Pidgin, it's got more options anyway and I've seen many complaints about the fonts in amsn.

yum install pidgin

dont use pidgin amsn is better, atleats when you installed it with antialias fonts, you can install it via yum like this,
first remove your old amsn then.

rpm -ivh http://download.tuxfamily.org/rpm/dr...1-2.noarch.rpm

yum install --enablerepo=drpixel-testing amsn

if you want to reduce font size You must go to : Account, Preferences, Appearence, Change Font.
Default font is Nimbus Sans L, 11, I choose Nimbus Sans L, 8.
You must restart amsn to start using the new font.
