missing components after update install

I just did my 1st install of Fedora 7, on a dedicated clean 40 gb boot HHD

Everything went well, after reboot, I could see my NTFS data HDD
and my Networked 2nd computer.

I was then informed that there were updates to install.
which it did.

After reboot, I didn't see to my NTFS data HDD
or my Networked 2nd computer.

any ideas!

I reformatted the HDD.
Installed Fedora 7 again
and all is well! ....all my ntsf Hdd's are showing and Networking is
seeing my 2nd windows computer, awell as my laptop.

But I wont installing any upgrades again,
till they fix this problem with the next release!
