no sound from onboard nForce 2 AC97
I'm getting no sound out of my onboard nForce 2 AC97 audio card in Fedora Core 7. Worth noting is I also can't get any sound with Ubunut 7.0.4
Here's my /root/scsconfig minus the dmesg part.
Any help much appreciated!!!! I've been trying to get this working for days.

did you run kmix and verify all the volumes like pcm and master are up and the mute
isn't on?

I'm using gnome so I used alsamixer and the gnome audio thing. PCM and Master weren't muted.
