In a terminal as root type:

yum install samba

To configure, check the file /etc/samba/smb.conf

That file in very informative for novices. In Internet there are a tons of documentation you can read.

In you want a nice interface for configuration, try with webmin. You can find and download in: http://www.webmin.com/

You might also try installing samba-swat. It is another web-based configuration program.

With yum:

yum -y install samba-swat

Then make sure the swat service is enabled System->Administration->Services, click on the "On Demand Services" and check swat, and save. Or, from the command line (as root):

chkconfig swat on

Then you can open the address http://localhost:901 in you web-browser.
