change keyboard layout

Hi,

I need to change the layout for one key of my laptop keyboard. I had originally an english keyboard and changed the key caps with german key caps because a new laptop keyboard is ****ing expensive (Dell wants 65€ + 35€ shipping or wtf).

So now I need to customize the keyboard layout so that I have "<", ">" and "|" on the left windows key.

Where should I look at?
