Hi,
I wanted to start a Bittorrent download, so I typed "bittorrent-curses <torrent-name>" in a terminal. However, the torrent was taking a bit of time to get started, and out of sheer habit I pressed "CTL-C" instead of "q" to end the torrent.
Now I cannot seem to prevent the torrent from starting up in the background. Even if I try to kill the process with "kill -9" it starts up automatically the next time I log in.
Can someone please tell me how I can abort the torrent download for good?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Once again, I use just plain "bittorrent-curses" from the terminal. I don't have Azureus or anything.
