intel s5000psl

has anyone here had any experience installing fc6-7 on one of these boards? i can get a fully working and operational fc6 install going on this machine, except it hangs a lot. what's more is that when it does hang it generates processor internal errors in the BIOS. i have done a lot of reading and fiddling with bios settings and what not but, i'm getting nowhere fast. i am using the BIOS raid, with 6 250gig sata drives if that matters.
