Help! Have to get my folders and emails from Thunderbird into MS Outlook-How?

Hello All,
Does anyone know how to get all of my beauitfully organized email messages (with folders) from Thunderbird into MS Outlook? I was just told by my company that I have to start using a Windows PC as well as a Blackberry and sync my email messages from our Godaddy account both the laptop and blackberry.

Both pieces of hardware use MS Outlook as the messenger via our godaddy account to our blackberries. I would hate to think that by switching to MS Outlook I will be losing all of my folders and emails which are currently in my Thunderbird.

Can anyone give me specific instructions on this? I am not a techie.

Thanks,
Bheller

The only trouble is, I don't even know how to pull up my current Thunderbird accout/viewing of my email on this new laptop. Still need more help.
Thanks So much for your speedy replies!

bheller Go to your home folder and under view select show hidden files and look for a folder titled .thunderbird or in my case it is .Evolution and browse that for your folders and saved e-mail messages copy and save the files and see what you need to copy or import them into your outlook.

Hello:

It appears that you will have to do a little work to export all your T-Bird mail to M$ Outlook. After reading the above link, it looks to me like the easiest way is to install the T-Bird MBOI/Import/Export add-on: https://nic-nac-project.de/~kaosmos/mboximport-en.html
to your existing T-Bird install (the one where all the mail is located). Then re-open T-Bird, and you'll see a new entry under Tools=>Import/Export in mbox/eml format=>Export all messages in this folder (you should have the folder to be exported open before starting the exporter)=>you will be asked where to save the exported mail=>choose a place to save the exported mail, creating a new folder for each folder to be exported. The exported eml folders/files will have to be manually copied to a place where you can access them with outlook express - i.e., you may have to burn them to a CD, or (this is wierd) e-mail the folders to yourself as attachments (which could get ugly, depending on the size of the folders/eml files).

Once you are able to successfully convert the T-Bird mbox-format mail files to eml, you will have to manually copy them to outlook express (from the mozillazine link above):

create EML files and then drag and drop them into Outlook Express (plain Outlook won't work).
Good Luck

Thanks for your help...

I think bc it seems like so much work, I am just going to fwd every single email manually and then take a screen shot of my folders and re-create them in Outlook. Its about 340 emails so it shouldn't take THAT long. But thanks anyway for all of your help!
