boot up - 2 options to run fedora

hi, i have been running fedora for nearly 2 months now and all is going well. when starting fedora from cold boot i am given 2 different options of fedora (i have selected both but not sure what they both do as i cant detect anything). any idea pls?

There is a 'newest' kernel and the prior one. Fedora leaves the last kernel in addition to the newest just in case you experience problems - you still have one to boot into. After this, as new kernels are installed, the oldest will be deleted.

They would most likely be kernel options, the top one being the latest kernel. The reason for two is if you ever get a new kernel that is bad or one that goes bad you can fall back on the previous one.
